When it comes to sun bathing time, it’s important to know what the rules are, the etiquette, and what the risks are.
We’ve got all that, but what do you need help with?
1.
What is sun bathing?
Sun bathing is when you’re on your own and don’t have someone with you, so your body is exposed to a certain amount of UV rays.
When you’re sun bathing you get a bit of sun protection, and the amount of sunlight you get varies depending on how hot you are.
Some people have a lot of sun, others don’t.
The sun’s rays penetrate deeper into your skin than others, and it can affect your health and wellbeing.
You also need to be well hydrated and have plenty of fluids to keep your body moving.
2.
What are the rules?
Sunbathing is done indoors, so you don’t need to wear sunscreen or anything to protect yourself from UV rays during the sun.
When sun bathing is done outdoors, it can be very hot.
You may also need sunglasses and sunblock.
In some areas, such as parts of southern and eastern Europe, the sun’s UV rays can penetrate into the ground and hit you.
When doing sunbathing outdoors, you can be exposed to higher amounts of UV.
When it’s hot, you’re also more likely to be exposed.
And in extreme conditions like in South America, it could be very hard to keep cool.
If you’re in the U.S., you’re only allowed to sunbathe at the beach or in public places, and you have to wear a face cover to keep from getting sunburned.
3.
What’s the etiquette?
Most people have to go out of their way to avoid sunbathers.
But there are rules to follow when it comes time to sunbait.
Always wear sunscreen, wear appropriate clothing, and don´t allow others to see you.
Be sure to have a water bottle with you.
And if you have a camera, be sure to keep it away from your face to prevent people from taking photos of you.
If the sun is too hot, be careful to not let your backside get sunburn.
If it’s too cold, take off your clothes to prevent sunburn in the winter months.
4.
What happens if I get sunburnt?
Sunburn is the biggest concern with sunbathes, so don’t let it discourage you.
However, if you feel hot and need to take a break, try to stay inside.
It will keep your skin cool and prevent sunbursts.
If someone catches you, make sure you don´ t leave anything behind.
If your skin is sunburn-damaged, you should contact your doctor or a doctor’s office right away.
5.
What should I wear?
You should wear a sunscreen, sunglasses, and a face mask.
When done outdoors at night, it´s best to wear an appropriate shirt, shorts, and gloves.
If there are no other people around, be aware that they may be looking for a photo, so wear sunscreen if possible.
You can also wear a hat and sunglasses if you need them.
